Studies, analysis and research

Studies, analysis and research will provide the basis for developing MeTURA – Family education learning tools. Five different studies (case studies, research studies and statistical analysis) in each partner country were conducted with the purpose to reinforce the lifelong learning based data for adults in the EU environment and the lifelong learning research opportunities for vulnerable groups of adults. Examination of the studies O1 – O5 highlighted the real obstacles and potentials to develop more effective learning opportunities for families and their adult family members with intellectual disabilities (AFMID). Results provide useful information for implementation of lifelong learning activities within therapeutic gardening and therapeutic cooking, taking into account the necessary physical, psychological, learning and social methods / support for strengthening the independence of families and AFMID in order to avoid additional (institutional) restriction.
